These paper art cones or "tussie mussies" make great vintage Halloween décor. Fill them with treats and hang on the wall or from a doorknob, or, in the case of the smaller ones, decorate a Halloween tree (as shown above). The best kind of tree is a reproduction Victorian feather tree (made of real goose feathers) as it has lots of room between branches for the cones to hang. I used scrapbook paper, antique lace, curly edged ribbon, braided trim, tassels, gold embossed Dresden foil, cut out lettering, basket filler shredded paper, Halloween die cuts, and various vintage-style stickers. Sometimes they have paper wired bats, 3D brass spiders, black fly pins, skull ear rings, etc. as well to further create depth. They may be purchased there as well. If an item has already been sold, it will say that under the photo on this page. Happy Halloween!
